Who we are
This website is run by NWP Motors Ltd, trading as North West Performance (NWP). We are registered in England & Wales, company number 16572726, at Unit A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Suffolk IP28 7DE. We are the controller of the personal data you send us through this website. You can contact us at nwpmotors@aol.com or on 07498 777858.
What we collect
We only collect what you type into our forms:
- Sell your car: your registration, mileage and phone number.
- Car sourcing: the car you're looking for, your budget and timescale, whether you have a part-exchange, and your name, phone number and email.
- Book a viewing: the car, your preferred date and time, whether you have a part-exchange, any message, and your name, phone number and email.
We don't use analytics or advertising cookies on this site.
Why we use it
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry: to make you an offer on your car, to find the car you've asked for, or to arrange your viewing. Our lawful basis is that you've asked us to take these steps before entering into a contract with us (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)). We don't sell your details or use them for marketing unless you ask us to.
Who else sees it
Form submissions pass through our website host, Netlify, Inc., which stores them and emails them to us. Netlify may process data in the United States under appropriate safeguards. If you choose to load the map on our home page, Google receives your IP address and may set cookies; the map only loads when you click it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry, and for no more than 12 months afterwards unless you go on to buy or sell a car with us, in which case we keep records for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Email nwpmotors@aol.com and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
